Thanks for supporting LIVE MUSIC! The Tim Hewitt Group features a dedicated group of professional musicians who can handle any musical situation. 
Leader, Tim Hewitt, one of the finest sax, flute and clarinet players in the Detroit area, has fronted a quality group for over 25 years. The THG  has played virtually every venue in Detroit, and its members are known throughout the area as top notch in their field. Their resumes are long and varied, and each player brings an exciting element to the group.

The THG  is known for its outstanding horn section that fills the room with Big Band, Memphis and Motown sounds. The group may be booked as a duo, trio, quartet, six or eight-pieces, with a lead female vocalist and/or horn section. Lead vocalist, Diane Mathis, brings a crowd to its feet every time she gets on stage. Once you hear her, you won't forget her.
