Addison Oaks is perfect! The grounds are amazing as well as the employees. Living out of state made it incredibly hard to find the perfect venue. We picked Addison Oaks a year and a half in advance, and we couldn't have made a better choice. Laurie was so helpful, especially since I talked to her probably a million times in a year!The staff were reliable and prompt, as well as professional and happy to give you the best advice from their many years of experience. The food.... was so DELICIOUS! I had to try at least one of just about everything and oh my gosh was it tasty. People told me the entire night how delicious the food was! One recommendation... get the sweets table. Our guests were flabbergasted by how yummy and beautiful it was (plus you get to take all of the sweets home with you!).We could not have chosen a better place!

Addison Oaks is the perfect venue. The staff are professional, responsive, and very helpful. They are also very accommodating in many ways... from letting us drop off tons of stuff a few days before the wedding to letting my parents into the building early when they showed up early on the day-of to decorate outside, they were always happy to help. Their staff were very helpful setting up the decorations we'd brought for the tables, too. They allow lots of nice extras at no charge, such as passing drinks, setting up a table of munchies we'd brought using their own bowls and spoons, fetching drinks and food for the head table during buffets.... There are no hidden costs like cake cutting or champagne pouring here - it's all included, and the price was better than most places we'd checked out, too.The grounds are expansive and beautiful. We had way more fantastic photographing sites than we had time for. All of our guests commented on how good the food was and how beautiful the venue was, too. There was not a single hitch. Dan runs a great show. You will not be disappointed - everyone in my family was pleased beyond expectations with how everything went. Bravo, Addison Oaks!

I would recommend Addison Oaks in Leonard to anyone! They were fantastic! They were so sweet and professional. The food was amazing, and there is so much to choose from! They answered any questions over the phone with great customer service. I never heard any negative reviews about them, and they definitely won't start here. The ceremony location is beautiful, and the overall venue looks fantastic. I loved it! They were very, very helpful with the whole process. They made everything go so smoothly. Definitely 5 stars +.

If you want to have a memorable wedding, go to Addison Oaks! I would do it all over again and the staff there was FANTASTIC! Dan, our room manager, has his stuff together and really knows how to put on a wedding. When we sampled our food, we weren't that impressed but on the day of the wedding it was fantastic. Everyone raved about the service and the food! I am so sad now that my wedding is over, I want to relive that day more than anything! If you want a high class, wedding, I'm telling you, you need to go here!

Wow, how do I even begin this review? Besides our photographer, Addison Oaks for our reception was absolutely perfect for our reception and the best decision we ever made. From letting us set up a day early to going the extra mile for us (letting us store lots of things there before the wedding) to make everything perfect, we picked the best place. It was exactly what we were looking for in a reception hall - classy and elegant but off the beaten path, somewhere we haven't been a ton or surrounded by concrete (ie hotels). Dan and Laurie were phenomenal, even stepping in the day before the wedding to intervene when a vendor tried to pull a fast one on us. They even offered to put up our linen in Centerline when the linen company said they weren't coming out the day before (even though it was stated in our contract- Dan and Laurie helped to straighten everything out and got them there!) which had nothing to do with them all in order to make our day stress free and beautiful. My husband and I both used to work at well known banquet halls relatively in the area (Cherry Creek and Royal Park) and never have we ever seen such excellence in customer service. The food was absolutely to die for (we were told 'best we've ever had at a wedding' from almost everyone there), the view was incredible, and the room was beyond gorgeous. The grounds to take pictures on are breathtaking, our photos are on our photographer's website because they look so gorgeous. We have referred everyone we know to have their reception there, and know 4 people who booked there recently. The price was incredibly reasonable, especially after shopping around at other halls who didn't even offer as much as they did! I have 3 siblings, all of which my father states will be having their reception there as well. I could continue on for days, I really can't say enough fantastic things about this place!

Addison Oaks is gorgeous, has great food, and the staff is so incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional. Our wedding was wonderful and Addison Oaks played a large roll in making it so. :)

The food was great and they were very easy. The food was amazing and I loved every second of my wedding because of it.

I always dreamed of having my wedding reception here since I was a little girl and we would come for the company Christmas Party every year. I was not disappointed. I can't say enough good things. The location is breathtaking year round, I had a gorgeous snowy winter wedding and it was stunning. The food is the best I've ever had at a wedding or many restaurants for the matter. The staff is top notch, Dan and Mike did everything in their power to make my day super special. One of the best perks is that you provide your own liquor, beer, and wine and they serve it (no liquor license to sell it) which means gigantic savings on a premium top shelf bar, you can go out and get the best or the cheapest and you don't pay over inflated prices like you do at every other reception venue out there. Oh and if there is leftovers you get to take it all home, I am still enjoying leftover wine and champagne. There is only one downside to Addison Oaks and it isn't big enough to keep you away but it is located in the country so the nearest hotel is a 30-45 minute drive. IF only they could build an Inn onsite for wedding guests it would be perfection. We got a great deal on our limo bus which sat 30 people so we offered it as a shuttle to our guests and encouraged them to stay at the hotel. To sum up this review, have your wedding reception at Addison Oaks, it is the best and you will have beautiful memories to last a lifetime. It was my dream wedding come true.

Addison Oaks was the perfect location for our October wedding. The property was beautiful and the staff is super nice and helpful. The kitchen staff made up a unique fish and vegetable course at our request, organized everything so that the evening ran smoothly and were even fun and helpful, bringing drinks up to the bridal suite etc. It was a wonderful night!

Addison Oaks has an outstanding reputation...and I completely agree with it after having my August 2008 wedding there! The staff was phenomenal...professional and prompt. I really felt like they cared about us, our guests and our wedding day. On the day of, they were calm and accommodating...and we just had so much fun! The grounds are absolutely beautiful and my guests can't stop raving at how gorgeous of a place it was...and how amazing the FOOD was! They were absolutely blown away and so were we! We took many visits to the location throughout our planning and fell in love with Addison Oaks more and more each time. On our wedding day, seeing the ballroom transform into our vision was so magical...everything looked 10x better than we had imagined and it's all because of the staff carrying out our wishes, and the beautiful location :o) I only have one very minor "negative" thing to say but it's no fault of Addison Oaks...it's really out in the middle of nowhere :o) It's not hard to get to (I suggest having everyone take Rochester Rd. and not Lapeer Rd. which can be confusing). Just know that there aren't many hotels within a 10 mile radius for your guests to stay...especially if it's a large number. There will be a little more driving involved to get out there but it's TOTALLY worth it! We just got a nice shuttle to take our guests back & forth from the hotel in Auburn Hills and it worked out perfect!

Lori Cavanaugh, Mike and Dan Shaw were so professional and easy going. My day was picture perfect and everything went off without a hitch. The food was amazing and per Dan's suggestion....the bacon wrapped scallops were an absolute hit as far as appetizers. I cannot speak enough high praise for this site for your ceremony and reception venue. It's gorgeous 1,300 acres of property with breathtaking views gave my photographer endless photo opportunities. My husband and I were so impressed with everything!!!

Addison Oaks was awesome! I never regret having my reception there. The staff was amazing and prompt. It showed that they cared for our big day almost as much as we did. The food was so good. They were very flexible with what we wanted and how we wanted it. They did all of the little things that make the main event so great!
