B Mac Image

My husband and I met with about 10 different photography studios before selecting a photographer. We were looking for a really great photographer who could be flexible in developing a wedding photography package that worked for us and our budget. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have found Brian at B Mac Image. He was super flexible with us and came up with something that would work for our budget - VERY reasonably priced - allowing us to pay for his time and photography expertise before the wedding and then select and pay for an album after the wedding. This was very cool because most studios wanted to include the album in the package and insisted that you pay the $1000 to $1500 for the wedding album as part of the package price before the wedding. And the best part is Brian is an awesome photographer who loves what he does!Brian did our engagement pictures and they turned out really, really nice. My husband and I thought we would like to do engagement pictures in a park, with trees, flowers, etc., but Brian convinced us to take pictures in the downtown area of Birmingham and that turned out to be a great idea and the pictures were wonderful.For our wedding day, Brian and his assistant Doug, were with us throughout the day, from "getting ready with the girls" at the hotel that morning to well into the evening reception. He had excellent ideas about where to take pictures and how to pose us. He was patient with my big crazy family even though no one was on time for him to take our pictures like we should have been. We had all 18 of our nieces and nephews involved in our wedding and Brian was able to capture really great pictures of them and get a couple of pictures of the whole huge family. After the ceremony, I wanted a couple of pictures with my dogs, so Brian very kindly followed us back to my house and got a couple pictures of us with our dogs :-)Brian took a good mix of posed pictures and candid shots. I can't say enough about how good he is at capturing the special moments throughout your day. It was so cool to see things that we hadn't noticed on our wedding day with all the craziness and stress. It really meant a lot to see a picture of my dad holding my mom's hand, 2 of my young nieces being silly and dancing together, my nephews getting caught whispering to each other during the ceremony, a new mom holding her baby close and rocking her to sleep... These are all such sweet and special moments that my husband and I didn't get the chance to see because we were constantly surrounded by people. I am posting some of my pictures, both engagement and wedding photos, on wedding wire to give you an idea of some of the pictures he took. We highly recommend B Mac Image to any couple out there looking for a wedding photographer. You will be so pleased with him as a person and with his work. He is a genuinely nice guy, responsive, professional and a true artist when it comes to photography. Brian and BMac Image offer first class service from start to finish--from our initial meeting to the time I recieved my pictures, I was completely blown away!!! The prices were great but beyond that, I wanted a phtographer that I was comfortable with--his work would be our slice of wedding heaven to remind us of the best day of our lives (and it truly was!). He is friendly, professional, and has an ease to his personality that calms those persistent bridal nerves! His previous work and ideas for my special day had me so excited to work with him--he is incredibly talented. On our wedding day, I knew the pictures were going to be gorgeous as he had that certain "eye"...he clearly spotted the best timing, location, and liighting opportunities for our pictures. He was even able to produce outstanding pictures of my husband and his groomsmen, despite my husband's impatience with pictures and cameras in general =). When we met a few weeks after the wedding (near my work so I didn't have to drive to his office...he was always flexible with meeting times and locations!!!), the package and the surprise DVD he created for us, brought me to tears. I truly cannot say enough good about Brain and his business. Any bride would be lucky to work with him, I know I was!

When Brian and his crew showed up, they made meand my family feel at ease. The kindness, time and patients he took he took with everyone, showed in his end work, which is all I was left with once the wedding was over with. I have never seen so many different angles in which he took the pictures, he really captured the whole day for me. Two of my friends who just were married, were shocked at the quality of work, and the prices that I paid, compared to what they have and what they paid. I know that Sara called you to have you as her photographer at her wedding, she saw you as you worked, and than looking at my photo albam, she won't have anyone else. I can't say enough thanks for doing such a fine job. I have pictures that reflect the whole day. And they are great!!!! Ps...Also thanks for making me look so great, I love the flower thing you did.

When I was looking for vendors for our wedding, I knew the most important person was the photographer...since the pictures are all that is left once the wedding is over. It was important to us to have pictures that truly captured the events and were able to tell a story. Brian and his assistant did an amazing job of doing just that, at a very affordable price! He was great to work with in terms of building a package that fit our budget and our style. Once my husband and I met him at a bridal show, we knew he would have the energy, style and talent we were looking for! We absolutely LOVE our pictures and get such great reviews on them every time we show people. Not only do they tell our story, but they are memories that will last a lifetime and we are so proud to share them!! Brian was the perfect photographer for our wedding...we could not have been happier with his work! His pictures were fabulous, and we get constant compliments over the images he captured. The colors were so vibrant and the candids truly captured the moment. I would recommend B Mac in a heartbeat.
