Lakeland Manor

Craig and his whole team were wonderful! They took our dream wedding and helped make it come true! I could honestly write a novel on how well they treated us and all the amazing things they did to make our day special. Craig truly made us feel special from day one to the very end. I look forward to attending other events at Lakeland Manor and to one day soon have my baby shower there! The food was above all expectations, we still have people coming up to us to talk about how amazing the food was and what a beautiful venue. Their catering was phenomenal, and I would hands-down recommend them for any and every event. To top all of this off, they really care about their guest and work with budgets! I cannot thank them enough!

price was fine, the facility is pretty neutral and clean. overall everything worked out fine, but the only person we ever worked with is not a "talkative" guy. he didnt seem very helpful only because he let me do all the asking and talking. he didnt...take charge if that makes sense. no biggie, just that it was hard to think of questions to ask so there was a lot of silence at our meetings. the food was good other than a few of my guests and myself got a little red chicken. since it was a buffet, im sure that was why. they include a really nice dessert buffet, which isnt necessary, but very nice. if it wasnt included, i would opt out just to save money since i had a cake and that would have been enough. the layout is good and pretty normal and standard looking, but that just means it wont clash with any decorations. and you can decorate however you want! i was disappointed i never asked how they fold their napkins. it was the outdated, 80's style fan fold. blah. i used to work at a banquet hall and we had a much simpler, more elegant way of doing our napkins. or right in the champagne glasses would have looked better. they really need to update that. but, thats a small detail so oh well! they DO have color choices of napkins, and will do mood lighting, chair covers/ribbons, and other little extras. glad we had it there! you can make it look/feel classy, or casual and anywhere in between!

Kelly and Robert are the best! They gave me so much for the money. Everyone that attended my reception said that they enjoyed the food, drinks, desserts, and so on. It is a very beautiful place. I would recommend them to any soon to be bride.

Wow! Talk about above and beyond. Lakeland Manor transformed my wedding day. The food was above all expectations. In fact, one guest said, "This food is too good to be called wedding food." Craig and Sandra were so responsive and brought all of my mixed-match ideas to one cohesive creative day. Their catering was phenomenal, and I would hands-down recommend them for ANY event, especially something as important as a wedding.

It does not get better than lakeland manor!! The FOOD is phenomenal!!!!they are family owned, and the quality and friendliness shows. They treat you like you are the only bride in the world, and will do anything you ask of them. Beautiful location (I had my wedding at the one on Harper ave, not 9 mile- although same owner) and I loved it b/c we were the ONLY party there, no stupid divider walls where you can hear the party next door, and no stranger danger in the bathroom! We have hosted all of our events with lakeland manor, and will continue in the future!

Everything was wonderful and the food was absolutely incredible.

Lakeland was our Reception Site as well as our caterer. The food was OUTSTANDING. the inside of the hall was GORGOUSE, however the only issue i had was with the exterior, the building had been damaged about a month before our wedding and we were informed that all repairs would be completed by the time our vent was to be held there. unfortunatly it was not repaired in time for our event and sadly we were mislead. however i can not complain about the rest of the services, i have to admit once i looked back at the service tax that was added to our bill, i was not impressed. we had a buffet style, and yet i paid alot of service tax for my guests to feed and seat them selves. otherwise the place was like a palace for the evening, everyone was amazed at what we were able to do with such a small budget.

Loved this location.....I could not be happier with the service we recieved, the food was awesome.....everyone loved it and the dessert table was incredible. Thank you so much for making our day so special!!!

Beautiful location friendly staff

This was by far the best place to have my wedding!!! Craig and the team at Lakeland Manor will do anything to make your day as special as you want it to be. On the day of my wedding, there was a misunderstanding and the hall had set up with white table linens, when I requested black linens. Once they were notified of the mistake, they took down the entire set up and redid it in time for my reception to start. I was super impressed. They also have amazing food and the value was perfect for someone working on a budget.

Bobby and the rest of the staff at Lakeland Manor are simply EXCEPTIONAL!! Everything we wanted, we got. They not only met all our expectatios, but exceeded every single one. Absolutely everything was simpy PERFECT!!!!
