I don't have enough positive things to say about this company. Professional, fun, personable, and helpful. We had DJ Ben ("Big Ben") as our DJ, (along with Chris) and he was absolutely amazing! The two together had so much energy that continued to pump everyone up all night! The dance floor was busy the entire night and the guests were coming up to us throughout the night saying how much fun they were having and how "our DJ was the best they had ever seen." It was easy to tell the crowd was having a blast up until the very last song of the night. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. If you want the best, I'd go with Elite!

elite entertainment is AWESOME! our dj cancelled on us 3 days before our wedding so we contacted elite because my sister used them for her wedding a few years afo. it was a last ditch effort and THANK GOD they had a dj available. George met with us that evening and gave us an awesome price! he could have charged us much more than he normally would have since we were desperate and would have paid for it but he actually knocked off $100. we were so happy with. his performance at our wedding. he found our first dance song and slowed it down 10% just as we requested so we could dance as we had been practicing. he kept the crowd dancing and was awesome. i definitely reccommend elite to everyone!

Below is the email I have sent to Elite after our wedding....I am still waiting for a response back. Please note, this is not a very nice email, however, it is still missing many things that went wrong on the day of our wedding.... George, We have received your letter in the mail along with the gift cards. While we appreciate you trying to make things better, there are things that can not be taken back. In the chain of emails below, I made it very clear to you that my grandmother had JUST passed. She passed away a month before our wedding, so there are a lot of people, not just myself, but also family and friends that are still grieving. By the announcement that was made, it hurt a lot of people and made everyone think of my Grandmother’s passing on a day that was supposed to be a happy occasion. We had also discussed that Al and I were going to cut the cake after dinner, not when we entered the hall. Had I not heard you telling the rest of the bridal party that we were going to be doing it as we entered the hall, we would have looked like we didn’t know what we were doing by going to the table and you calling us back out. I thought the purpose of our meeting was to discuss the scheduled of events….if that was the case, you would have had the correct schedule of events in your notes. You had also acknowledged my request for “Mama Song” in the email below. If it wasn’t for one of my bridesmaids coming over to get you, you wouldn’t have done that either. While you apparently didn’t read the email that I sent you below, you were quick to tell me I had a balance with you even though I really didn’t! Also, I want to tell you that your “sales technique” and your sample videos are VERY misleading. There was absolutely no reason for us to purchase the DJ/Emcee package. In your videos’ it shows the emcee being very involved all night and the “dj” taking care of the music. I did not see girl you had behind your booth with you do anything all night, nor were you very involved. As far as your photography….I have a whole list of things below. When we first met with you, you told us that Anna was one of your best photographers; if she is your best, I wouldn’t pay $10 for your worst! The price that we paid for her services and the one album that we are getting is ridiculous. If she was polite, friendly, courteous, and good at photography, I would never questions paying what we did. However, she was none of the above. Please see just some of the things that we were unhappy with her about below. She would not go to the place we wanted to go for our engagement session because it was “too far from her house!” We had to go somewhere she selected in order for her to do it. (This was our first interaction with Anna….we actually planned on calling to see if we could switch photographers, but decided we would suck it up and give her a shot. The engagement session went well, so we thought that everything else would work out with her. Looking back, we wish we would have changed photographers!) She called after our engagement session to see when we would like to schedule our engagement session. (She should probably check her notes before she makes phone calls…then she wouldn’t try to set up a session after one has already been done.) A couple of months before our wedding she called to see if we would like to “add an engagement session to our package.” (Again, isn’t keeping notes what a reputable company would do?) I understand if you have a busy life, but do complain to your clients, that you work a full time job, go to school full time, you’re a mom, and you just moved! If you are too busy to have your job as a photographer, don’t do it!! After our meeting with you, Anna and I played phone tag a couple of times before I had to go down to Indiana for my Grandmothers funeral. When I got back, I had tried calling her a couple of times and then Al attempted to call because I wasn’t getting any answers from her. When she did finally call me back, she had the audacity to tell me “she couldn’t figure out who kept calling her from a (313) number and wasn’t about to answer it!” When she arrived at my Mom’s house, she was talking about the wedding she had the weekend before. She was complaining about how dirty the house was, how they smoked in the house, how nasty their cats were, etc…. I’m sorry but you DO NOT complain to a client about another client….very tactless! The pictures she did take while at my Mom’s house were all prompted by me. She didn’t take the initiative to take pictures of the girls around the house, or anyone besides me getting ready. I had all of the girls drive all the way out to Bloomfield Hills just because the photographer was going to be there! The pictures she took of the girls could have all been done either at the church or between the church and reception. While at the church, she was rude to many people. I can not tell you the amount of complaints I have received from both friends and family about her attitude. She went as far a telling Al’s grandmother “you have five seconds to take a picture” and then started counting to five! I understand that she has a job to do and her job is to take pictures, however, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity for us, and if our grandparents want to take pictures, they can and they will not be spoken to the way that she did! Looking back and seeing the pictures that she took at the ceremony, we are unhappy with. We have pictures that others took with their cameras that came out better than hers! In most of her pictures, either Al or my eyes are closed. Again, this is a once in a lifetime thing, and we can never reproduce pictures from this day. Once we arrived at the site to take pictures with the bridal party between the ceremony and reception, she was also very rude and was making snide comments to our bridal party over and over again. I believe at one point she knew that was upset, and again had the nerve to say “I’m sorry I’m being rude, but your bridal party is not cooperating” I am sorry but again, have some tact!! Before we were done with our pictures and she left for the reception, I asked that she go around to the tables and get pictures of people at their tables as well as candid photos throughout the night. She assured me that she would do that. If you look at our pictures, I don’t see any of people at tables, and we might have MAYBE a handful of candid shots. While she took many pictures of the daddy/daughter dance, she only took THREE photos of Al and his mom. The photos immediately following….oh yeah, they were of her bff from high school! (The one who just got the job recently because Anna brought her to the Elite Christmas party. I’m glad that her boyfriend who is a DJ with Elite wasn’t there, or who knows what else she would have missed! All information that she told us that day instead of taking pictures!) I’m sorry, this is our wedding, and my husbands dance with his mother, WHY did you stop taking pictures of him to hang out with your friend? After dinner and all of the main dances were done, she came up to me and asked if there was anything else that I needed her to take pictures of….not knowing what she had (or hadn’t) done already, I asked that she get pictures of my mom and her fiancé, my dad and his girlfriend, and Al’s parents…she then sent me to go find them! (After spending an entire day and night with them, she should have known who they were and not sent me to find them!) I went and told all sets of parents, but, just like Al and me, they kept getting stopped by different people as they were trying to make their way to the lobby. She got Al’s parents, and then rudely walked up to my mom and told her that she has “been waiting in the lobby for her forever!” She never did get a picture of my dad and his girlfriend like I asked! At the end of the night she so pleasantly (RUDELY) walked up to me and told me she was leaving and if I needed anything else to contact Elite, and to not ever contact her! I’m sorry, I understand that she is employed by you, but you do not say that someone! I am not trying to be negative, but, we paid Elite Entertainment a lot of money for your services and were disappointed in MANY aspects of our day! I hope that you took the time to read this email in its entirety unlike what you did with the email below. I look forward to a response from you and hope that you put some though into my feeling above. I had nothing but good things to say about Elite prior to our wedding, and I wish I could say the same thing today.

Just married on April 21st and i couldn't be happier with both DJ Kool Aid and Krista our photographer - kool aid was rolling with the punches of staying professional when he needed to be and enjoying his job to the fullest when everyone else was having tons of fun, he said he was gonna wear us out on the dance floor being the first open season wedding of the year which he did, and i hope we didn't do the same to him :) - Krista was over the top playful with all my 1-8yo guests which was phenomenal for perfect shots and stayed true to the professional nature when needed also..both koool aid and krista were on point to flag people down when fern hills coordinator was having a little bit too much fun at the other wedding down the hall ...elite entertainment also did our invitations which were beautiful and done by Jennifer who also happens to keep the owner in line ;) not only can you not go wrong with the people mentioned above because i know i didn't but everytime i entered their facility i was greeted within seconds with a nice warm smile by someone willing to help...thanks guys for everything

Elite entertainment helped us each step of the way from the very beginning! We had an idea of what type of DJ we wanted and they helped us find the one!!! We had Tommy as our DJ and he was great! He took the time to meet with us and email with us....he played just what we wanted and was very professional as well as excited for our wedding! It was a pleasure working with Tommy and if you're looking for a great DJ who does not take the spotlight , go with Tommy!!!!!!!!!!!

Elite made my reception exactly what I had wanted. My husband and I had a fantastic night and it was stress free because of Elite. They are professional and fun to work with and listen to what kind of reception and wedding works for you. I could not have asked for better people to work with and a better night.

After attending three other weddings where Elite Entertainment provided the music and coming highly recommended from our vendor, the choice was easy. Leading up to our big day things were made easier by their email reminders and the ability to make payments and fill out forms online. Our DJs were Dan Detloff and Ben Yowell. On our big day they worked with us to make sure that we were not rushed and were able to do things on our own schedule. When we went around to greet our guests we started running behind for the cake cutting, but instead of making an announcement that it was time to cut our cake forcing us to skip tables they talked to us and pushed back the cake cutting until we were ready. They played every single song I requested (which was only a few) and they did a great job at getting people out on the dance floor. Our guests told us they had a great time and so did we. The DJs helped to make our reception run smoothly and kept everything organized. I have been to events where the DJ was not very good and it is true that the DJ can make or break your event. I highly recommend Elite Entertainment!

After the wedding we had no doubts about recommending Elite for DJ, photographer, and/or videographer services for weddings or special events. The DJ, photographer, and videographer that we had for our wedding were friendly and did a good job. However, dealing with the management after the event has left us extremely disappointed. When attempting to address some concerns that we had about proofs we received and costs that we were quoted, Elite's management was extremely unfriendly and unprofessional in their attempt to handle it. The attitudes of the management completely changed after the event was over and they had our money, and we no longer felt like a valued customer. It definitely ruined the good points about the services that we received initially and left a sour taste in our mouth. We would not wish these feelings or this service on any other bride and groom, and would NOT recommend them.

We went with the top package that included event lighting, 2 DJs and the monogram on the floor. Big Ben was our DJ and did an amazing job. He got the crowd pumped up and played music that kept everyone going all night long! My husband and I couldn't have asked for anything more.

booking Elite is the best thing you will do for yourself when it comes to booking vendors. We used Elite for DJ, lighting, photobooth, and a projection screen, but I would encourage you to you them for photography and videography as well. They are beyond amazing as far as quality of service and performance. Everything ran so smoothly for us and we were able to relax and enjoy our day, with little updates on scheduling by Dan. Using Elite was a great experience and I would strongly urge you to book them for your event!!!

DJ was great from my standpoint. I know one guest did say that his requests we not played but I am not really sure the story behind that. Thank you for everything!!!!!

I loved working with Elite. They handled my DJ, photo booth, lighting, and dance floor monogram. Everything turned out perfect and they were extremely easy to work with...it was effortless on my end. I would definitely recommend them to any bride.

All of the people we came in contact from Elite were nothing shot of fantastic! George was our DJ and I couldn't have asked for a better person! He helped us create a time-line at our final meeting and was so much fun to work with! A month before the wedding my Grandpa passed away. George and Elite offered me their thoughts and support and told me not to worry about anything and to get in contact with them when I was ready. This speaks volumes about them. They view their clients as people and not as dollar signs. I gained a whole new level of respect for their business after that. They were a pleasure to work with and I would definitely recommend them!

DJ Koolaid was AMAZING! He kept our dance floor full the whole night and also played requests from our family and friends. He took special time for us to make sure everything was going the way we wanted it to- and also met us the minute the wedding party pulled up in the limo. We heard nothing but compliments all night about our DJ - we would recommend DJ Koolaid and elite entertainment to any couple getting married! thanks DJ Koolaid!

Elite has the most professionalism and elegance I have ever experienced at any wedding I have ever been at. They also know how to make your night one to remember! George did a wonderful job preforming our ceremony and then rocking out the night as our DJ. Rick did an Fantastic job of capturing the night. The photobooth was a smash hit with Hilary as the attendant.
