Davids Bridal

So, I got a great dress that was tailored beautifully. People loved it. I loved it. The only qualms I have with David's Bridal is that they are kind of pushy: oh if you come back, we may not have this pair of shoes in stock... or this little clip on piece of jewelry... or this little doo-dad. So, I did buy a few extras besides the dress that I never used because I felt like I needed to buy them "just in case"... That said, my dress was highly affordable and really cute so I'm happy anyways!!

I was super happy with my gown and recieved it only about a month after I ordered it! The consultants were very helpful and enthusiastic. The down side to David's Bridal is that they wanted me to come in for my alterations almost 3 months before my wedding and were quite expensive. I ended up taking my dress to another alterations provider.

I had a great experience at David's Bridal in Ann Arbor. I found the perfect dress and loved it! My consultant was amazing as well. She was very helpful and gave me very honest feedback which I LOVED! I also went here to find this veil that I had fallen in love with. I saw it in the store in ivory and then looked for it every where online. When I couldn't find it I went back into the store and they told me it was discontinued. The lady then went and looked for it all over the state and then all over the country... she found that there was 3 left in the country!!! So she ordered it for me and had it shipped to my house. I would completely recommend them. :)

Jamie was the first person there to help me and she was very helpful, sweet and fun. I found my dream wedding dress with her help. Jamie also helped my bridesmaid with her dress and again she was extremely helpful and friendly. I came back later to pick up my dress and also was thinking about alteration. Those two times, I was helped by other sales people there and they were not helpful at all. Many times I was left alone for a long period of time and I had to look around the store to find them or find help from other people. I was kind of frustrated.They have a large collection of wedding dresses there and a lot of them look really beautiful. My wedding dress and other accessories arrived much earlier than their deadlines. The alteration there is expensive compared to other places, but the seamstress was friendly.

My dress was ordered and delivered in a timely fashion and they cleaned and ironed it for free!

Great dress for very little money, super friendly and accommodating staff. I had a great experience there and can highly recommend it.

I can't say enough good things about David's Bridal Ann Arbor. The staff was amazing. My 'maids and I had such wonderful experiences shopping for our dresses. My MOH lives in Canada and one of my 'maids lives in the UP but, David's A2 was so accomodating with alterations and pressing. We never had a problem being seen by a consultant and they were always ready to answer my questions and they even took care fo contacting the girls when it was time to place orders.I even got my invitations through David's Bridal online because we had such a good experience in this store. They turned out absolutely beautiful (I am still getting compliments) and they saved us a lot of money.

When I first walked into the store, I was greeted by a mean worker who was not helpful and was just plain rude. I was about to go, but then another worker helped me out and really was one of the best people I've ever worked with. She helped me get all the dresses I needed, even when from different David's bridal stores. She was a shorter woman with blonde hair at the Ann Arbor store. I recommend her!

The woman who helped me find my perfect dress was extremely knowledgeable about styles that would be flattering for me and really helped me to narrow down my choices. She even opened the store early for me one day because my mom was in town and had to leave later that morning. It was really important to me that my mom be there for my final decision -- and they couldn't have been more accommodating to us. In the end, my dress was perfect for me and for the type of cermony we had. I was so comfortable in it and received more compliments than I can count. I have no regrets whatsoever in purchasing my gown from Davids Bridal.

My dress was perfect. The people who worked there were nice, I just felt at times I had to remind them of what they were suppose to alter on my dress because it took 3 times for them the get alterations correct.

some of the staff is wonderful, some are horrible. overall an ok experience

I made an appointment and the woman who helped me was wonderful worked with my budget and found me an amazing dress for under $200. She was fabulous and i really enjoyed my time. However when i came back without an appointment that lady was nice too and helpful i put my things on layaway. But when i came back to cancel it because i did not need those things, the woman tried to charge me $50 when the money was due back to me. Overall the ladies i had helping me were great but the counter people are not friendly or helpful.

The people helping us were nice, patient and very helpfull. One of them actually picked out the dress I picked- I never would have thought I'd love it as much as I did. My dress came in quickly.

I did not have a good experience at this David's Bridal. They have you go through a catalog and chose dresses that you like. Then they're supposed to pick out the dresses. The woman who was helping me was pulling the correct dresses and would then disappear. My friend and I ended up going through the dresses ourselves (which is what we would have preferred in the first place). The sample dress that I tried on in the store was a size 10. It fit, so the woman who was helping me ordered that without taking my measurements. When the dress came in 3 months later, it was too small. It turned out that the sample dresses often get stretched out. So they ordered me another one that took an additional 3 months to arrive. Since that was less than a month before the wedding they had to do rush alterations. I still paid for the alterations, but at least they waived the cost of the rush service. I ended up really liking the dress and the alterations were well done. However, the alterations were as expensive as the dress and they really push their bras (which are more expensive than what you'd pay at a department store). If you go to this store, work with the manager, she's great. The other assistants I worked with were very unhelpful.

My dress was beautiful (of course!). It was the last one we tried on and it fit perfect, right off the rack. It was like it was custom made to fit my body. The assistant that helped my wedding party and I find dresses was so polite and helpful. She even gave us a few tips on how to hide certain pudges and such, as well as styles to avoid and choose in order to accentuate or hide areas. I did not use their altering services, nor did any of my bridesmaids, so I can not rate those, but overall my experience was good.

Love my dress, very helpful good experience it was not as great for one of my BM's though.

I purchased my dress, veil, slip, and bra from this place! Everyone was nice. Very busy. All of my bridesmaids bought their dresses from here as well. The cost is not bad at all.

The ladies that work at David's were pleasant and helpful. I've been to other David's Bridals where you simply felt like a number. It is not that way here. They are a newer store and their employees are very responsive. I did not have any trouble finding something I was happy with. I would suggest having alterations done elsewhere as they are pretty expensive there.
