Danielle Murphy Wedding & Boudoir Photography

Danielle was awesome to work with! She did our engagement and wedding photos in 2011. I met with numerous photoraphers in my search and felt very comfortable with Danielle. She was flexible in meeting times and was always friendly and easy going. Her pictures are ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! She is very talented and the price is worth the quality of the pictures!

When I was researching photographers, I kept going back to Danielle because of how her pictures made me feel. She and Ian have such a talent. They capture those candid, "special moments" that truly make you feel the emotion of the moment. They were extremely professional and very responsive. They are artistic and deliver an amazing, eye-catching product. Just to give an example, one of our favorite photos from our wedding night was printed, framed and put on our sweetheart table just prior to dinner. Danielle is exceptional! I felt like she and I were old friends...that is the level of comfort I felt with her. Danielle and Ian were great! First of all, our engagement session was so much fun, and we got tons of great photos to use in making a photo guest book. The day of the wedding Danielle and Ian were so helpful with even more than just taking pictures. Danielle even figured out some A/V issues we were having a with a video montage, so that I didn't have to! They were wonderful to work with, never in the way or imposing during the celebration, and what I've seen of the pictures so far are absolutely amazing! I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

When I started searching last spring for a wedding photographer, I thought I'd never find one that would satisfy my taste. I e-mailed with about 10 photographers in the Flint, Detroit and Ann Arbor area. I searched online through all of their albums and I called to speak with them on the phone. There was only one who was 1. friendly and responsive 2. had gorgeous pictures that exceeded my needs and expectations and 3. Was priced reasonably enough that my dad didn't freak out when discussing cost. We had Danielle do our engagement pictures (amazing), our wedding pictures (spectacular) and I even did a boudior photo shoot, which was one of the most fun experiences of my life. If you are looking for pictures that capture special moments, emotions and make you look like a model, Danielle is the BEST. Everyone who saw our engagment or wedding pictures is just in awe at how great they are. The pictures speak for themselves. Ahhhh-mazing!

Danielle is the most amazing photographer-she really knows how to capture the special moments without you really knowing she is there. She pays great attention to detail and is very creative. Danielle did our engagement photos as well, the entire family cannot stop talking about how wonderful Danielle is. If you are into the vintage look, Danielle should be your pick. I plan on booking her for my children (whenever the time comes). The price is worth it-I have plenty of friends who spent minimal money (1k) on photography and ended up with zero photos they actually liked. This is one of the areas where it is totally worth it to splurge a bit-the memories last forever.

You simply MUST do this for yourself! Gone are the days of boring wedding photos. Shooting with Danielle is like having access to what celebrities are privy to. I felt so comfortable shooting with Danielle. She knows how to work around your flaws and bring out the absolute best in you! I almost cried when I got my images back!!!! She is a genius!!!

Danielle and Ian were wonderful! They were incredibly accomodating, quick to respond, and very fun to work with! The wedding photos turned out beautifully, and the peace-of-mind of knowing that they would turn out so wonderful is priceless. We can't wait to have them photograph our future children and family!

I had an unbelievably positive experience with Danielle Murphy. She is incredibly professional, fun and creative. She's willing to step outside of the box or keep things traditional... She is amazing with special effects and vintage... She can accommodate whatever you want. Her attention to detail is unlike any other wedding/boudoir photographer I have seen. The best part about working with her is she LOVES what she does. We booked our engagement photos with Danielle in 2009 and had no doubt that she was going to be perfect for our wedding. I hardly knew she was there during the ceremony/reception. Her husband also helped with taking photos and is exceptional as well. I have been in weddings where the photographers are obnoxious, tacky, cheesy, rude... Danielle and Ian are so professional and are so much fun to work with. Danielle is always available for questions/meetings. I have referred a few of my friends to her as well and they are equally pleased... and it's fun for me when I get to see her at friends' weddings :) Recently, I even did a boudoir photo shoot with Danielle to surprise my husband. It FAR exceeded my expectations... I was SO nervous before the shoot, but Danielle made me feel so comfortable and I had a blast... and my husband loved the results. He was shocked. The photos are glamorous and classy and I love the result. The make up artist she works with, Mandy Nixx, is also extremely professional and SO talented. I wish I would have met her before my wedding! You can not go wrong with Danielle Murphy Photography! I can't wait until my next excuse to take photos with her... maybe a baby shoot :)

Having never been married before posing and all the wedding flutter was new to me. Danielle was great. I'd seen her site and already knew she did great work. We did our engagement photos a few weeks before so we'd know her style. She thought of cute poses and we decided to use one of those for our guest book (What a wonderful idea instead of a book you never look at). For our wedding she went ABOVE and beyond - she came all the way to where I lived for our getting ready shots. She even poured my MOH some mimosa courtesy of Essential Elegance (THANK YOU E.E.). She was never imposing but would take shots without your knowledge that really capture the moment and what you're feeling. The weather had cleared up on the day of the wedding so she was able to get some really nice shots of my new husband and I. She had complete liberty to take whatever photos she wanted - we took the traditional group poses then it was all up to her. She made the pictures look like a dream. While we were on our honeymoon we heard she had posted some and we couldn't wait to see them. Beautiful! Should we have another event in the future - will most definitely use her!
