Looking for something different? How about some classy acoustic bluegrass, played by award-winning musicians? Our band has a two-time Michigan state champion fiddler, and twice in the top three for flat-pick guitar playing nationally, plus one of the best hammered dulcimer players around, backed up by bass and rhythm guitar.
The Kaiser Family Band really is a family, with three teenagers (siblings and cousin) and parents. Our band performs either as a five-player group, or as a subset of members, depending on the situation and desires of the people for whom we play. We can offer a single violinist (classical), classical/traditional with guitar (mostly waltzes and classical pieces), single hammered dulcimer, or the whole family band. We have played for numerous weddings, and can offer suggestions for appropriate music. Or we can learn your favorite tunes, with a bit of notice.
Before the wedding we can play lovely waltzes and light classical as your guests arrive, we can play processional and recessional music (if you wish) and then we can liven it up with jigs and reels and old favorites after the ceremony. We do not sing... we just play some of the best music you'll hear. We can supply our own amplification equipment, if needed.
