Amy Whitlock has been shooting weddings and portraits for  12 years.  Starting in Dallas, Texas, working for a prominent wedding and portrait photographer, she gathered, and continues to gather, any information she can get about the art of photography and the business of working with people during their most memorable occasions.  While in Dallas, she started her own photography business, Amy Wilkerson Photography, and worked successfully throughout Dallas, Ft. Worth and Austin, capturing wedding memories whenever privileged to do so. Amy is now located in the Houston, Texas area.  Amy has a modern approach to wedding, event and portrait photography, attempting to catch the nuances of a subject's personality, over a traditional pose.  Amy is flexible and easy to work with while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.  She loves to participate in weddings, to be part of the event, behind the scenes, capturing the day as it unfolds in order to ultimately provide the bride and groom with a collection of artful memories.
